Except for fake discounts, I think the author gave important points regarding the topic. Fake discount is something, which has been around before I was even born. It's a bad but traditional business tactic that consumers have to be watchful of. Anyway, to the author, fake discount is way too risky to use especially if you're speaking about customer loyalty. Once a single customer of yours finds out your deceitful means, you won't enjoy witnessing your sales going out the window. Watch out!

Basically, you're telling us you take advantage of people while they're down. When I see businesspeople doing this to me, I NEVER shop there again, and I tell all my friends, family, acquaintances and anyone I meet what a liar the business is.
