Catalogs Make A Comeback

ADVERTISMENTS

Here are some more of my disjointed ramblings about eCommerce and catalogs. Them coming back are an unexpected expansion of a previously hum-drum idea. I didn’t envisage that they should return in a more focused way.

Surprisingly, using an old medium like print catalogs can increase business. After all, people don’t like carrying a laptop to the restroom, now do they?

LOL, Pardon me, but I fully concur with this idea. Judging from what top experts say, what I interpret about what customers like in catalogs is the ability to read them on a casual basis. If you don’t get this then you indeed don’t fathom eCommerce. It is fantastic how someone doesn’t fully understand a plain subject matter like this.

I must urge you to learn more about what their others may be doing about eCommerce and printed catalogs. There are few new slants on this old concept. There is no reason why you couldn’t simply embrace this concept entirely.

I’m going off on a tangent, but I have to buy into this idea. The strongest point I can make is this: This is the source of the problem right here — not thinking about what the customer really wants.
